A home funeral provides families a slowed-down, carefully planned, more affordable, hands-on experience. The significant difference with a home funeral is that you are able to stay in control of the process. You can choose where and when you hold the funeral and create a very personal ceremony that honors the life of your loved one.
Your loved one may have died at home and they may have left specific wishes to remain at home until the day of committal. There’s no legal requirement for a funeral director to be involved in the care and arrangements. You may wish to coordinate all the planning of the funeral from completion of statutory paperwork, care, and presentation of your loved one to the purchase of the coffin. Our team are able to support, advise and guide you through your own arrangements.
