A simple, affordable alternative to more traditional funeral services.
Direct cremation does not include many of the usual elements included in a low-cost funeral, but a direct cremation cuts out many of the additional expenses; such as transport, chapel fees, and a celebrant. It is conducted with simplicity and respect, without a chapel service, at a time agreed with the crematorium.
Every direct cremation we conduct is handled with the same level of care and compassion as every other funeral.
Our experienced staff will support you every step of the way, always offering clear advice and help with the many necessary details which follow every death.
On the day of the cremation, a member of our team will accompany your loved one to one of the local crematoriums, usually early in the morning, treating them with the utmost dignity and respect. Then, following the cremation, your loved one’s remains will be either returned to you, or dealt with according to your instruction, by scattering or interment.
An additional fee will be applied for outsized, specialist coffins. All charges are to be settled 48 hours prior to the date of the cremation.

Removal of pacemaker or other medical device (+ £50.00)

Conveyance from other location within 15 miles (+ £100.00)
The Sutton Coffin, fully lined (+ £175.00)
Mercedes Hybrid Hearse for conveyance to the crematorium (+ £200.00)

We are able to arrange cremations, burials in other parts of the UK and repatriations from and to other countries.
